Currently Giving Me All The Marvel Feels (Spring 2017)

Spring is officially here (hey, being from Louisiana, who knew THAT was a season?), and there is so much MARVEL in the air.

It is glorious!

Here is what is Currently Giving Me All The Marvel Feels (Spring 2017).

Telltale Games Guardians Of The Galaxy

If you know me, you know I have a love/hate relationship with Telltale Games. I love them with all my butterfly kisses forever and ever for Clementine and Lee, and I hate them for Tales from the Borderlands (ew!), that rushed ending of The Wolf Among Us (wtf?), the Michonne game (just NO) and the latest installment of The Walking Dead game where you have to betray Clementine and treat her like shit to progress.

Oh Telltale, thou shall rot in the pits of a 7th level hell for this fuckery.

Thus, naturally, when I heard about a Guardians Of The Galaxy game, I was skeptical. But, BUT, I know Marvel has its talons and pointed teeth into everything put out within their brand.

I had to play the first episode, "Tangled Up In Blue."

And I. LOVED. IT.

It is so darn cute, and has all the feels of what Guardians of The Galaxy is - fun, adventure and lots of laughs. If you are a big fan of Peter Quill's soundtrack, the game is full of this as well, including his favorite band Electric Light Orchestra. This game is a MUST for Marvel fans.

Telltale, I forgive you.

Sort of.

Guardians Of The Galaxy Volume 2

Oh. My. Baby Demons. I cannot even tell you how much I loved this movie.

It was just SO fantastic! You should be buying your tickets RIGHT NOW to this movie because you will love it to pieces. It made me and Military Husband laugh so many times. The soundtrack is totally on point. Chris Pratt, once again, shines as Starlord, Bautista and Bradley Cooper are hilarious as Drax and Rocket and then, there is Baby Groot:

Everyone at New York Comic Con last year said Baby Groot would steal your heart and this could not be anymore true! He is ADORABLE. I want a Baby Groot for Christmas!

Anyhoo, you need to see this movie. James Gunn, thank you - you killed it!

Editor's Note: For my Marvel FANatics, there are five post credit scenes. Make sure you stay until the end; besides, you HAVE to hear David Hasselhoff sing Guardians Inferno. It is hilarious and awesome.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D Season 4 (LMD/Agents of HYDRA)

Wow.

ABC's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is currently kicking ass and taking names, and if you are not watching, you are missing out on one of their best seasons ever. After my overall disappointment with the MCU's treatment of Ultron, I could not be more pleased to watch Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. shine in the portrayal of an "evil A.I." Not to mention, all of the cast has blown me away with their acting skills (they could hold their own now against any of the movies/Netflix series). Jed Whedon has gone above and beyond this season employing some of Hollywood's most talented, like Eric Laneauville, who directed hits like St. Elsewhere and L.A. Law, Billy Gierhart, who worked on Sons of Anarchy and Oz Scott, who directed episodes of The Unit and CSI. Their work and the casts have me captivated week after week. It would be an absolute crime if the series does not get picked back up for a Season 5.

Did I mention they brought back one of my favorite characters?

Welcome back, BJ Britt.
#TRIPLIVES

AGENT TRIP! His grandfather was a Howling Commando, you know, one of those guys that Captain America fought with in Captain America: The First Avenger. He knew Peggy Carter! Trip is basically a Marvel legacy.

Thor: Ragnarok

I really cannot believe I am saying this, but I am excited about a Thor movie.

This looks REALLY good. Seeing the Thor costume that I remember from the comic strip as a little girl is totally dope. I will definitely watch this one in the theater.

Are any of you planning on seeing Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 this weekend? Let me know in the comments below if you do and if you enjoyed the movie!

You can't have a Mili Wifey without Marvel, because I am,

  9. We were thrilled to see Trip on Agent's of S.H.I.E.L.D, it is one of our favorite shows, and we love the new and improved Grant Ward. Just sad Mac stayed behind but we think he probably has to help rescue Fitz. And what great acting by Iain De Caestecker, he has really brought new depth to Fitz.

We stopped by to wish Belle a Happy Barkday!!!!

  11. Can't wait to see Guardians. I had an opportunity to go to a small get together at my friend's house last summer, and Chris Pratt was there (he grew up just down the road from me). BUT I didn't know he was going to be there, and we had other plans, and didn't go. I'm still kicking myself.

  13. My favorite in Guardians 2 was Michael Rooker. I'm so glad they gave him a real story line!

Also, that Thor trailer is just everything.
