Currently Giving Me All The Marvel Feels (Winter 2016)

It is that time again.

You know, the time in which I completely geek out and my heart gets to fluttering about all things:

Le Sigh. #nerd4life

Here is what is Currently Giving Me All The Marvel Feels (Winter 2016).

Marvel Studios 2016 Logo

Ever since its debut at San Diego Comic-Con, I have been head over heels for the new Marvel Studios Logo. Yes friends, the logo is important.

It is truly a majestic thing of beauty.

Dr. Strange

Speaking of the logo, I was able to view it in all its glory as it introduced Dr. Strange.

Now, I have to be honest, I was not sure how I would feel about this movie.

Would it be Thor-like?

Would Benedict Cumberbatch fit the role?

Would it be a little, eh, on the dull side?

1) Nope. Not even.
2) 1000000000% yes, yes and YES.
3) Absolutely NOT.

I totally loved Dr. Strange and Cumberbatch was perfect in the role! This was definitely one of my favorite Marvel films to date. The acting was superb, the script was well written and the visuals were incredible. Even Military Husband gave it two enthusiastic thumbs up (Editor's Note: And he went into this movie all "ew, no, do we really? Ugh.").

GO SEE DR. STRANGE! You will not regret this decision.

That's Not A Party

I was Black Widow for Halloween and I was totally proud of my costume. I purchased the Marvel Her Universe Black Widow Jacket and a red cosplay wig.

This is still available at Hot Topic.
Editor's Note: It runs SUPER small.

And the rest, I put together on my own. It was the BEST!

However, we only had two trick-or-treaters Halloween night.

I was super bummed. Therefore, Military Husband took me to Olive Garden to drown my sorrows in wine, mussels and breadsticks. Overall, it was a fun Halloween evening because I was able to spend it with Military Husband.

But, BUT, where were my trick-or-peeps? #Hallo-LAME.

New Marvel Gear

In October, my blog friend Holly wrote a post about her Etsy store. She mentioned that she can make all things glitter - t-shirts, mugs, stickers, etc. I told her about an idea for a t-shirt I had and she offered to make it for me as a gift!

If you want your own t-shirt, you can check out Holly's Etsy store here:

You should follow her blog and check out this post to see more of what she can make for you:

And add her on Instagram because she is totally awesome:

Thank you Holly again for this special gift. It meant so much to me! There are so many good, kind hearted people in this world and I am so blessed to have met many of them like yourself in the blogging community.

Are you excited about anything upcoming in the Marvel Universe? Have you seen Dr. Strange?  If so, did you like it? If not, will you be seeing the movie? Let me know in the comments below!

  14. That's an awesome T-shirt. It made me smile as I remember my first date with my husband, who was in his 20's at the time. He wore a fedora, he had a Thor Bobblehead, and he made us martinis befire the dinner he cooked for me. I knew that night I was going to marry him.

    1. Ahaha!! I know we'd all get along so well!!

  15. I want to see dr. Strange even though I don't really know what it's about. Mostly it's bc of Benedict. Lol
