Currently Giving Me All The Marvel Feels (Spring 2016)

It has been almost six months since I have written a post on the "feels" (you can read that post here: Currently Giving Me All The Marvel Feels (Fall 2015). You know, that which is giving me ALL the Marvel feels currently.

I know, I KNOW.

Captain America would not be pleased.

Here are my things that are:

Currently Giving Me All The Marvel Feels (Spring 2016)

1) Captain America: Civil War

Speaking of Cap, raise your hand if you were one of "those people" who bought their Civil War tickets the day they became available?

Same.

Just in case you could not be more excited, the International Trailer was released a few days ago:

#TeamCap all the way.

I have been sporting all my Captain America gear in preparation for the movie. I even bought a Captain America air freshener for my car at Target:

Yup. It smells like FREEDOM.

Anyhoo, Military Husband and I will be at the premiere of Captain America: Civil War on opening night. I will be wearing my Captain America Dress, of course.

I know the #feels are coming on May 5, 2016. But no worries Cap, we are with you until the end of the line.

2) Daredevil Season 2 Recaps Completed

I completed all of my recaps for Daredevil Season 2. Once you finish watching the series, you can begin reading them all here:

I am so proud of myself for working diligently to have them up within four days after the Netflix release. This is my third venture recapping Marvel Television and something I really enjoy. I try to add in as many Easter Eggs and comic book visual extras as I can for all of you that love Marvel.

3) Luke Cage Is Coming Soon

For those of you who watched Jessica Jones last fall and enjoyed Luke Cage, well, prepare for September 30, 2016. In true Marvel fashion, Daredevil Season 2 ended with a post-credits scene and it was the trailer for Luke Cage.

The lineup for Luke Cage includes Mahershala Ali (House of Cards), Frankie Faison (The Wire, Silence of The Lambs, Hannibal), Frank Whaley (Pulp Fiction) and Theo Rossi (Sons of Anarchy) who will star as Victor Alvarez, none other than:

Power Man

This Netflix series is sure to be another hit!

4) A Spy's Goodbye On S.H.I.E.L.D.

Anyone watch Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on Tuesday, March 22nd and get the major #feels?

Second time this series has brought me some major watery eyes (RIP Agent Trip). We will miss Mockingbird and Hunter. However, it is exciting that we will all soon be watching Marvel's Most Wanted on ABC! The cast is filling up with some great actors and the promise of a recognizable Marvel supervillian.

It is not goodbye, but see you soon.

And when the heck does this happen, Marvel?

I, for one, think Adrianne Palicki would look great next to Jeremy Renner! She is definitely one of Marvel's most beautiful.

5) MORE Marvel Gear

You might guess I am always on the hunt for new Marvel gear to wear. I recently purchased this shirt and am in LOVE:

You can buy one here at DizonCollection on Etsy. No worries; they have no idea I am promoting them on my blog and I receive nada but good #MarvelFeels if you purchase from their store!

These are things currently giving me all the Marvel feels. Let me know if you are getting excited for any of Marvel's upcoming ventures.

Are you going to see Captain America: Civil War? Will you be watching Marvel's Most Wanted on ABC or Luke Cage on Netflix this fall? Did you watch Daredevil Season 2? Let me know in the comments below!

Things are just Marvel-ous over here, and I am,

    1. I read the reviews, lol, just sad.
Civil War should be fantastic. The Russo Brothers are very good at what they do. Winter Soldier is one of my favorite movies of all time.

I live in "the middle of nowhere" and our movie theater hasn't put them on sale yet. The sad thing is we will be in Austin until MAY 5TH....Another day in Austin and we could have gone to Alamo Drafthouse....AAAHHHHHH #notfondofsmalltowns

  9. LOL. We went and Saw Batman V Superman (yes I know that is DC not Marvel) and there were so many Marvel movies coming out I actually thought about you during the previews. I seriously hope the Cap America-Iron Man movie is better than Batman V Superman because after falling asleep during the first hour of the movie, I felt a little betrayed by both characters who acted like children.
    It got better.

    1. I've heard mixed things. Some say it's good if you enjoy the comics. I'm not a huge fan of Affleck or Zack Snyder which are my fundamental problems with the movie. The kid who plays Bruce Wayne on Gotham is DCs ace in the hole right now. They better hold on to him..he's very good. Civil War will be good because the Russo Brothers are probably Marvel's best. Winter Soldier is one of my favorite movies of all time.

    3. Omg right? He's really gotten good! He and Robin Lord Taylor (the Penguin) make that show.

  11. YES to all of this! I haven't bought my movie tickets because well I've been traveling all over, so I have no idea where I'll be during that time. I still need to finish Daredevil, but I've been loving this season so much so far! They did an awesome job with flowing each episode right into each other. I haven't read your Daredevil recaps yet because I'm waiting to finish the season!

  13. Wait, but Hawkeye is married and has kids and stuff. So does that mean they waved bye bye to that Mockingbird storyline? I kinda hope so, personally...

My boyfriend's name is Chris Evans, so we are all into Captain America and I love it.

    1. In the comics, Hawkeye's family is brutally murdered after the Superhuman Registration Act (Black Widow points them in the direction to where his family live). He eventually meets and marries Mockingbird later in life. I think everyone was kind of shocked Whedon decided to throw in Barton's family in Ultron. Safe to assume though that Marvel would never have intentions of crossing over their movies that much into the television show which is a shame since Daisy Johnson basically takes over SHIELD in the end. Also, another fun fact, one of Hawkeyes kids was named after Nick Fury (NOT Black Widow and most certainly not Quicksilver).

That is SO cool about your boyfriend. I would name all our kids after Marvel characters if I could, hahaha. Military Husband wouldn't care for that too much. ;)
