How I Met My Husband Through CBS' Big Brother

Last summer, I wrote a post on how I met Military Husband. I mentioned we met through Twitter, but the tweets that began our relationship centered around CBS's summer reality show Big Brother

As reality show seasons begin, I am honored once again to by having another article featured on SheKnows.com.

I would be ever so thankful if you checked out my article on SheKnows.com:

As always, I am still,

  5. I know a guy who follows me (until he became rather inactive) on my blog, who met his wife on his. He lived in Kentucky but he eventually moved to Germany to be with her.

I met my wife on a dating site, it's a rather boring story on our part.

That's so awesome. I love to hear dating sites work for people. I have friends that use them and I try to encourage them because it's worth a shot...you just never know where your someone might be!

  6. That's a wonderful story and congrats on a another feature! My husband and I talked online for years - I know his Dad, also a fed, and we had SO much in common. Neither of us dated anyone more than a few times, as I think we both knew we'd already found our perfect match, it just took us a while to meet in person and see for ourselves. 8 years later he's still my best friend and the 25 year age difference is just numbers (and yes, I know ALL the cougar jokes). May you and military husband have many more years together.

    1. That's amazing! Oh who cares about the age difference. Military Husband's friends told him I didn't exist and he would come here and the joke would be on him. Bahaha!! xxoo

  15. I LOVE you even more now! You may not realize I'm, like, the world's biggest Big Brother fan. Okay, one of many, I guess...but I watch the Live Feeds, too! I wasn't a feedster back in the Danielle Murphree days, so I missed that. I started my live feeds last summer. It is a totally different experience from watching the show. You don't really realize how annoying these people are until you're watching them unedited. Caleb (pictured at the top of her article, for anyone who doesn't watch the show who might be reading this) annoyed the crap out of me with his 24/7 talking about himself and how he was going to leave the show and do all the other reality shows, like Survivor and The Bachelor. Yep, now he's doing Survivor. Anyway, how cool that you and your husband share a love for the show and that's one of my favorite "how we met" stories ever!

    1. Haha yeah we are old school Big Brother fans! The live feeds really do change things; I'm always amazed at how people can only watch the tv show because cbs gives people a great edit that are horrible in the house. Thank you so much!!

  16. Such a cute story! It's awesome to share common interests, and even more awesome that we live in a techy world that helps us to connect with people we would have never met otherwise!

  23. That is cool! I've made a few friends via social media about a tv show, so I totally understand!

  24. I read somewhere that over forty percent of the people meet on social media these days. Why what would happen if we had a disaster and the net crashed for a couple of years. Like would we be back to the stone age boy meets girl hits her over the head and drags her home.
    Thanks for being a friend
