Happy Summer my friends, it's #MaddiethePug again.  Today, I'm going to share with you one of my most embarrassing, true and funny stories.  When you are #MaddiethePug a lot of crazy stuff happens to you.

She's a natural blonde which means she's REALLY crazy.

Yasss, Your Bae Is On Fleek: 5 Slang Words That Need To GO AWAY!

Oh, the kids these days.

Wow.  That makes me sound super old.

But really, I am beginning to wonder if my generation was as annoying as this new one is, especially with all this new founded slang going around.  Most of this speak appears on social media.  You see, this generation has social media as its output for all that is "cool."

Pug Posts: Pretty Pug Maintenance Tips + Chewy.com FURminator Ear Cleaner (for Dogs AND Cats) Review

Hi everyone!  #MaddiethePug here again, and I want to first send you a big pug kiss and hug for reading and commenting on my Pug Posts.  You guys are the best.  I'm basically taking over my mommy's blog one Pug Post at a time thanks to your support.

Today, I am going to give you some tips on "Pretty Pug Maintenance" - basically, how to take care of your pug.  I will also be reviewing an AWESOME product that was pretty much pug-life changing for me (and no, I wasn't paid to do the review, but you know, if you want to throw a cheeseburger my way, feel free, hehe).  This post will give you a little insight into what it is like to take care of a pug, in case you ever want to adopt one into your heart.

Happy Birthday To My Husband!

It is my husband's birthday weekend.

Which is, of course, extra-awesome.  Not sure if my husband really thinks so, but I told him back when you hit the age of 30, you were supposed to choose an age and stick with it -
EVERY. SINGLE. YEAR.

No one will ever notice.

Military Wife & Husband (Guest) Post: TV Shows We Watch Together!

Back in April, I wrote a post with my husband about the television shows each other watched that we just could not stand.  You can check that post out here: Military Wife & Husband (Guest) Post: TV Shows He/She Watches I Just Can't With!  My blogging friend Stevie requested we do a post focusing on the shows we love to watch together.  My husband and I thought that was a great idea and another fun opportunity to brainstorm together.  If you ever have any ideas for collaborations for my husband and I to post, please let me know!

Thanks so much again to Stevie for requesting this post.  Everyone make sure you check out her blog and follow her at: Stevie's Balancing Act.  She is awesome!

Here are the TV Shows We Watch Together!

Hell's Kitchen

My Commentary:  My husband got me into this show and it is SUCH a guilty pleasure.  Gordon Ramsey is my spirit animal.  He says everything to the contestants that I would have loved to said to the people I formerly worked with.  You know,  jackholes, also known as, lawyers.

I'm Gonna Unleash My Inner "Annabelle" On You!

Disclaimer: Sorry if this freaks anyone out.  Sort of...? Hehe. #sorrynotsorry

I love horror movies; I am pretty much a horror movie fanatic.  This should be in my "about me" section and deserves an entire blog post, but, well, we will get to that.  But as sneak peek into my horror fandom, a few years back, my husband and I went to see The Conjuring (twice!).  When the scene begins with Bathsheba brushing Annabelle's hair in the rocking chair, the audience was screaming in terror.

Not me.  I was all:

That Annabelle was great!

The REAL Truth About Root Canals

If you have been following my blog, you know that I had a little problem with my tooth that inspired several of my past posts.  That tooth pain all culminated around the end of April with me at an endodontist's office looking like this:

(Trust me, this would have been way cooler and far less painful)

I'm going to be perfectly blunt with my readers. Creating ideas for posts and writing this blog, hell, leaving the bed, after my root canal was a total pain in the ass.  However, I really enjoy providing entertainment for you all.  And for myself.

Someone has to, right?

Pug Posts: BabyBelle's 1st Pug Birthday Party (Warning: CUTENESS OVERLOAD OF PICS INSIDE!)

Hello Party People Of The Internet!  #MaddieThePug back again, and I wanted to let you all know about my sister Belle's 1st Birthday with her family this weekend.  Belle, or BabyBelle as we call her, is technically 3 years old, but my mommy and daddy rescued her last year on Mother's Day (she was my mommy's Mother's Day gift).  Mother's Day weekend is now officially the celebration of her birth into a new life with us.

We love BabyBelle so much we decided to have a huge celebration.  It was her first one and everything (but FYI people, #MaddiethePug gets a birthday week).

On Friday, BabyBelle got a special surprise gift from our friends at Chewy.com.

But, First...Just Don't. 5 Kinds of Selfies That Make Me Wanna Hurl!

Ah, social media - the land of the free and the home of the vain.

What the hell is wrong with this generation that we think the world needs to see 5,432,000 pictures of ourselves?  Try not to take offense to this if you use this app regularly, but Instagram sucks.  When people ask me if I have an Instagram, I reply no and then, when they ask if plan to get an Instagram, I reply:

You see, I've been on Instagram before.  I know the terrain and its inhabitants.  Endless pose after pose from the same person, pictures of that said person's food, pictures of that said person's Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte, pictures of that said person's purchases at Ulta, and rounding it back out with more pose after pose after pose.  Of course, the said person expects you to like their pictures if you want to be followed.

Gamer Girl Tears: That Time I Made The Choice For Lee Everett

Last week, Grey's Anatomy fans shed social media tears over the death of Derek Shepherd.  I personally do not watch the show, but it made me think about the nonexistent times I have gotten emotional over fictional characters trials, tribulations and deaths.

It's not like I'm completely heartless or anything.  I just do not get particularly moved by fictional characters.

Except for Lee Everett.

He is the character you play as during Telltale Game's first season of The Walking Dead (available on Playstation, Xbox, PC, etc).
