Oreo's Christmas Gift Exchange: Pressies For #MaddiethePug From Stella Rose

Hey friends. #Hayyyyyyy!

I am back. Was I missed?

Right. Well, I have missed you and the blog. We just returned from our mini-vacation where Military Husband gave me the gift that keeps on giving - his cold. And of course, being sick for yours truly is basically the equivalent of the end of the world.

No really, tho.
I cannot even with this stuffy nose and zombie cough drama.

Despite all that, I wanted to tell you all about a wonderful experience #MaddiethePug and I had in the blogging world. We recently participated in Oreo's Christmas Gift Exchange. Oreo is a member of a lovely group here on the Internet who call themselves "Blogville" that I joined this year. Basically, "Blogville" is a group of awesome pet bloggers who support each other throughout the blogging journey.

"Blogville" has been so good to and for me, Military Husband and our pug babies this year. If you are interested in getting started in the community, you can go here:

And yes, they tolerate people like me who talk about other stuff than their dogs. You know, like that low key thug life in the hood.

That I might not live, but report.
#hatethegamenottheplayer

Anyhoo, participants of Oreo's Christmas Gift Exchange were given a partner (like a Secret Santa) and were to spend $10 on each other. Groups of two or more were allowed and they were to spend $15-$20. Gifts had to be mailed out by December 19th, 2015.

#MaddiethePug's Secret Santa was Stella Rose @ The Three Little Pugs

Here is the big package #MaddiethePug received from Stella Rose:

Inside the box, there were several wrapped presents and a new fleece throw. I mentioned to Stella Rose that #MaddiethePug LOVES blankets.

She was so excited.

Of course, she had to get her "pug smells" all over the new blankie.

The presents included a Hippo Stuffie, a bag of Milo's Kitchen Steak Grillers, a bag of Milo's Kitchen Chicken Grillers, Gingerbread Men Shaped Beef Patty Chews and a Tiger Stuffie for #BabyBelle Pug.

BabyBelle Pug totally loved the stuffies.

#MaddiethePug ate several treats and went into her usual food coma.

Stella Rose also sent me and Military Husband a gift. Military Husband was totally stoked to see one of his favorite snacks.

Military Husband LOVES caramel corn.

#MaddiethePug and BabyBelle Pug have been using the blanket every night. It was the BEST gift for both of them.

I wanted to say thank you again from our little family to Stella Rose and her family. We had an awesome experience doing the Christmas Gift Exchange and will definitely do it again next year for both pugs.

By the way, #MaddiethePug was assigned to Ruby. Here is a link to her post on the gifts #MaddiethePug sent:

Thank you again Stella Rose. We love you!

Are you guys excited for Christmas? Have you participated in any Christmas gift exchanges or Secret Santa exchanges? Let me know in the comments below.

It's a marshmallow world and I am just holiday'ing in it,

  10. YAY to blankets! My mom gave me a heated throw she never uses and I put it in my sunroom, where it's always cold. My dog discovered it and lays on it all the time, so I can never turn it on because electric blankets can cause hyperthermia in dogs (as I learned the hard way with a previous dog!). So now I have to order another heated throw for me! Ah...the dogs rule our lives, don't they?!

    1. They really are! The times I've worked in an office setting, we never did them. I went to a law office party with a friend years ago and they did a really cool gift exchange (the White Elephant game). I was so envious! Being that I owned my own office, I never really did them because my mom was my only employee. Haha.
Hey congrats to you lady! We need to do a virtual baby shower for you!!! xxxoo

  16. Wow, those are such special gifts! Stella really picked out special things! How's the hippo? I used to have a hippo. I remember playing with him rather intensely one day ... and I think that was the last time I saw him. Hmm. I was only about 6 months old. Mom said something about "better a hippo than the furniture". Whatevs.
Hope your cold gets better. You know what they say - get plenty of rest and take two Pugs and call me in the morning. Ha roo roo roo!
    Yours sincerely,

That popcorn is DELISH. Make MiliHubs share!). I hope you feel better soon. We're all healthy over here right now, but with family coming over on the holidays I'm sure that'll change soon :( xo

Colds are the WORST. I pray you don't get one. I know being pregnant you can't take any of the good stuff, if you know what I mean. Lol.

  24. Mom got her Dad this caramel corn that's made fresh every day up here but you can get it mixed with almonds, pecans or MACADAMIA nuts (which we doggies can't eat as they're toxic). It was a two gallon bucket. I bet my human grandpa polishes it off in a week.
