Pug Posts: Our Thanksgiving Day

Hello Friends! #MaddiethePug had a fantastic Thanksgiving Day. I celebrated with my family and lots of yummy food.

Of course, all BabyBelle Pug did was wait on her Cowboys to play.

BabyBelle LOVES the Dallas Cowboys.

However, all #MaddiethePug did was wait on her delicious turkey. I LOVE TURKEY BOWL!

#birdistheword

Mommy did most of the cooking.

Editor's Note: Am I alone in thinking this should be the only way you eat green beans?
#frenchfriedonionsareEVERYTHING

And Mommy enjoyed her favorite part of the holidays: booze.

#liquiddiet #daydrinkingfortheWIN

Me and my sissy, BabyBelle devoured everything in sight.

It was #prettykewl.

How did you celebrate your Thanksgiving? Did you go Black Friday shopping? Are you excited for Christmas? Let me know in the comments below!

Happy Pug Holidays,

  13. Those green beans look yummy and exactly the way ours looked. You're right, it's the only way to eat them. We are not Cowboys fans (49ers), but we felt so bad when Romo went down.

  14. Well, since we're moving soon, all Mommy's pots and pans were packed so THEY got to eat out. Me and my pack had to eat dry kibble... {blah} Mommy and Daddy had to go to the store for something on Thursday night and came home empty pawed because they said the store was going NUTS and they didn't want to get trampled... BOL On Saturday they drove down to South Florida to check on our new house being built! We have kitchen cabinets!!! Other than that....nice quiet weekend at home... :o)

  18. Sounds like a fun and yummy Thanksgiving. My in-laws came over for the holiday weekend. It was nice to have them here. My brother-in-law and his family joined us for the holiday meal, as well. I did not go Black Friday shopping though!

  19. Black Friday sucks. No way would I get caught up in that--although I did do some online shopping. What was funny about your mention of alcohol is that I got stuck in traffic last Wednesday coming home. I couldn't figure out what was going on up ahead. Turned out I was caught in the line (on the MAIN road) waiting to turn into the liquor store. The parking lot of the place was packed. Even the grocery store wasn't as busy as the liquor store...wonder what that says about how people feel about their relatives?!

    1. Seriously? HAHAHAHA! That's crazy.
When we move, there is a huge store in our new city called Total Wine Spirits and More. It's freaking awesome (they even have wine classes inside and you can taste everything). I can't wait to haunt it soon.
Fortunately, my family is not bad. It's just my mom, dad and Military Husband. But back in the day? Oh lord....I needed 12 bottles. Matter of fact, my mom ALWAYS brought a huge bottle of Jack Daniels to any family holidays.

  21. We celebrated Thanksgiving with our neighbor fourteen people at the table with ham and turkey and all the fixings and five different kinds of deserts. Three dogs and a bird. Black Friday we celebrated with leftovers and Lee let her fingers do the shopping online. We were not fighting those crowds. And besides it rain all weekend.
Shopping bags don't hold up in the rain.
    Thanks for being a friend

  30. Looks like a very successful Thanksgiving in the food & booze department ;-) Exactly how it should be!! I actually had to work on Thanksgiving, but hey, holidays are kind of an important part of your business when you're a pet sitter. I still had a good meal & my favorite Pinot Noir when I got home after my last evening visit.
